ECB Linear Scoring Course - Yorkshire ACO

Although most scoring is done primarily using electronic devices, it is always good practise to have a paper back up, whether it be a box-style scorebook or a different format. Some experienced scorers will use Linear Scoring. 

This course will cover how to score using linear scoresheets. It will require each candidate to be proficient in scoring and the laws of cricket as these will not be covered. 

It will not teach you how to score, but how to complete a different format of paper scoring with the opportunity to learn about the reasons behind why some choose this method over a box-style scorebook and how to manipulate the format to suit the scorers needs. 

The session is aimed at good, competent scorers who want to progress and look at supporting their electronic scoring with a paper back up.
