Scoring Techniques is a CPD course for qualified scorers. If you have not completed a scorer course previously, then please complete the free ECB Online Scorer Course (takes approximately 1 hour to complete). Register yourself for this course by CLICKING HERE

Scoring Techniques is a short course designed for scorers who would like to gain a little more practice and knowledge to become a scorer. The learning is designed to help better equip scorers who are practicing to gain experience in league cricket. 

The course will last 2 hours and will cover the following learning objectives: 

• Gain further practice of scoring and feedback from experienced scoring tutors
• Understand how to build a successful scoring routine
• Know how to work together as a umpire and scorer team
• Gain a better understanding of some of Laws of Cricket relevant to scoring.
• Know how to record for Penalty Runs during a cricket match. 

There will be some scoring practice via either paper scoring or online. Please ensure you bring pens with you and a device to allow you to score effectively.
